Meet Pietro Kabeya
Pietro Kabeya is the Founder and CEO of FareVet, the first platform dedicated to bringing price transparency and affordability to veterinary care. Launched in December 2024, FareVet helps pet parents compare vet costs, budget for services, and make informed decisions, with the overarching mission of preventing economic euthanasia—when financial constraints force pet owners into heartbreaking decisions.
With a background in technology and entrepreneurship, Pietro combines innovation with empathy to tackle the challenges facing pet care today. He has worked closely with pet parents, veterinary clinics, and industry leaders to build tools that make veterinary costs easy to understand and compare. FareVet functions like a “TripAdvisor for vets,” gathering data from users, clinics, and publicly available sources, and will soon include an AI-powered feature to provide personalized cost estimates based on pet symptoms.
Pietro’s vision goes beyond technology; he is committed to creating a community-focused platform that supports both pets and the professionals who care for them. Through FareVet, he aims to make veterinary care accessible, affordable, and transparent for every pet family. His work is a blend of innovation, social impact, and deep passion for animal welfare, making him a leading voice in the intersection of entrepreneurship and pet health.
