Meet Peter Gottsacker
Peter Gottsacker is the Director of Supply Chain at Gott Pet Products, a second-generation, family-owned company known for its trusted brands Charlie Bear Dog Treats and Hound & Gatos canned pet food. Wearing many hats in a lean organization, Peter oversees finance, accounting, procurement, and marketing initiatives while driving operational excellence across the business.
Before joining the pet industry, Peter built a strong foundation in finance and auditing at Ernst & Young in Kansas City. With a background in accounting and a passion for pets, he brings a unique blend of analytical precision and heartfelt enthusiasm to his work. Peter believes authenticity, customer loyalty, and purposeful innovation—such as developing functional treats and toppers—are the keys to long-term success in the evolving pet industry.
