Meet Gabriel Viteri
Gabriel Viteri is the CEO of FinFare Pet Foods, where he is redefining pet nutrition through sustainably sourced, seafood-based treats inspired by the standards of human food. With over two decades of leadership experience in the food industry, Gabriel brings strategic insight and operational expertise that drive innovation and growth.
Before founding FinFare, Gabriel served as Chief New Business Ventures Officer at Acme Smoked Fish Corp., where he led diversification and investment strategies. His earlier roles at Acme included COO, VP of Strategy & Business Development, and Director of Quality Assurance & R&D, giving him a 360° understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and brand development.
A graduate of Cornell University (B.S. in Food Science) and NYU Stern (MBA), Gabriel’s approach to leadership blends science, strategy, and sustainability. Under his direction, FinFare leverages advanced processes like cold smoking and freeze drying to preserve nutrients and elevate product quality—bridging the gap between human and pet food standards.
Passionate about endurance and excellence both in business and life, Gabriel is an avid marathoner and Ironman triathlete, dedicated to pushing limits and inspiring innovation through action.
